-4 An overview of physiological, psychological, social, cultural, legal and ethical factors that influence the health of persons with critical health needs. Emphasis will be placed on roles and responsibilities of the nurse caring for patients with complex medical-surgical conditions. Includes clinical experiences of up to 45 hours. May be repeated to a maximum of four hours. Prerequisite: NUR 312 ; admission to Nursing (pre-licensure program); and meet progression requirements.
