Catalog description
A comprehensive survey of various aspects of music associated with the entertainment industry. Students will be exposed to a wide variety of topics including song and advertising jingle writing, scoring for film and video, negotiating contracts, and dealing with music publishers. May be taught concurrently with MUS 629. Cannot receive credit for both MUS 529 and MUS 629. Prerequisite: permission of instructor.
