the Arts CORE 42: MOTR number MUSC 102 - World Music. An exploration of what it means to be human through a comparison of various world musics and the associated recurring patterns of human behavior. Students will also develop a music vocabulary and listening skills through exposure to recordings, lectures and assignments about stylistic elements and analysis.
