Solution of initial and boundary value problems in ordinary and partial differential equations, simulation, and optimization. Problem solution will include the use of software. Identical with CSC 422 . Cannot receive credit for both MTH 422 and CSC 422 . Prerequisite: MTH 303 and MTH 421 .
