Topics include events, probability, random variables, discrete and continuous density functions, expectations, sampling distributions, central limit theorem, estimation, confidence intervals, tests or hypotheses. Computer statistical packages will be used for simulation study and data analysis. Prerequisite: MTH 280 or MTH 288 .
