Catalog description
An examination of the evolution of film technique and theory from the 1890s to 1960. Emphasis is placed on the social impact of film and on the artistic and technical aspects of the medium. Viewing selected films outside of class may be required. May be taught concurrently with MED 674. Cannot receive credit for both MED 374 and MED 674.
