An introduction to theories applied in the field of cultural studies. Emphasis will be placed on primary sources and their application to literature, media, and popular culture. Identical with ENG 317 . Cannot receive credit for both ENG 317 and MED 317. Prerequisite: ENG 235 and MED 120 .
