Catalog description

Assess literacy levels and select appropriate materials in various content fields. Techniques of teaching reading and writing in content areas, with emphasis on functional and study skills in these materials. Application will be made to the contemporary classroom, which is assumed to contain children of diverse cultures and learning abilities. Prerequisite: LTC 318 and admitted to Teacher Education.
