Catalog description
Environmental laws and government regulations of air, water and land utilization, energy resources, solid and toxic waste disposal, torts, labeling of toxic substances, recycling; ethical, public policy and international implications such regulations and court interpretations pose for business practices, natural resource utilization, health quality, biodiversity, and endangered species. May be taught concurrently with LAW 637. Cannot receive credit for both LAW 537 and LAW 637. Prerequisite: 36 hours; and undergraduate business majors must be admitted to degree program.
