Catalog description
Emphasis on current teaching methods, management skills, and curriculum development for teaching physical education to K-4 students. An on-campus lecture/lab and participation in clinical/field experiences in the area elementary schools. A C grade or better is required in this course in order to take KIN 493 or KIN 496 . Cannot be taken Pass/Not Pass. Prerequisite: KIN 200 and KIN 240 and KIN 277 ; and admitted to Teacher Education; and combined (Missouri State and transfer) GPA of 2.75 or higher; and earned a composite score or superscore of 17 or better on the ACT or passed all sections of the Missouri State Board of Education entry examination.
