Catalog description

A writing intensive course focusing on the synthesis or philosophical and historically relevant material emanating from contemporary problems in physical education, recreation and sport. Writing tasks will involve the use of extensive research and critical analysis of major issues in the fields of physical education and recreation to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Areas of coverage will vary with the instructor. Prerequisite: ENG 110 and KIN 200 or SPR 152 ; and 45 hours.
