Studio 6: Education and Office Design

Catalog description

Investigations into education and office design. Current design trends, global precedents, theories and spatial design as it relates to places of learning and workspaces will be addressed along with furniture, fixtures and equipment. Students will apply theories to a studio project and develop interior spaces that emphasize scale and measure relative to human perception, ergonomics, and occupation in workspaces. Prerequisite: IDC 201 and IDC 241 and IDC 303 .
