Catalog description

Investigations into environmental and behavioral design for designers explore theories on how people interact with their built environments. Relevant theories and psychology in design principles are explored including: the human condition, sense of place, human sensory design, ergonomics, occupant perception and well-being, evidence-based design, color theory, wayfinding, biophilia, Gestalt Theory, WELL Building Standards, generational design and Sustainable Design Principles. Cannot be taken Pass/Not Pass. Prerequisite: IDC 140 .
