Exploratory Work Experiences

Catalog description

Students will secure positions in their area of specialization in order to gain work experience. Working in a coordinated program the student will be evaluated by both the company supervisor and the practicum coordinator. In addition to work experience, the student can be expected to gain career direction as well as in the application of the principles and practices of their respective specialization. The student must be paid for the work experience and must work a minimum of 200 hours. Prerequisite: HSP 210 or HSP 220 or HSP 230 ; and permission.
