Catalog description
A study of the earth’s landforms focusing on the scientific understanding of the landform development processes integrating management practices and sustainability. Emphasis is placed on the role of humans as a geomorphic agent in the 21st century and the need for a sustainable approach towards landform management. May be taught concurrently with GRY 649. Cannot receive credit for both GRY 549 and GRY 649. Recommended Prerequisite: GRY 145 and GRY 146 ; or GLG 113 or GLG 114 and GLG 116 .
