CORE 42: MOTR number PHYS 110LT - Essentials in Physical Sciences with Lab. A course designed to give students an understanding of the processes of science and the basic concepts of earth science using the inquiry approach in hands-on laboratory activities. Content includes maps, earth in space, weather and climate, soils and vegetation, rocks and minerals, landforms, processes of landform development, water resources, environmental relationship to the physical setting. Does not apply toward the major in Secondary Education. Cannot receive credit for both GRY 145 and GRY 240. Prerequisite: 30 hours; and open only to Early Childhood, Elementary, and Middle School majors.
