Catalog description

Aquifer properties; elementary theory of groundwater flow through a porous medium; well and aquifer relationships. Laboratories include ground-water case studies and Hydrologic Investigation Atlas interpretations. May be taught concurrently with GLG 672. Cannot receive credit for both GLG 572 and GLG 672. Prerequisite: GLG 314 ; and either MTH 261 or MTH 287 .
