Catalog description

This course develops students’ understanding of issues in Francophone linguistics by exploring such topics as phonetics and phonology, morphology and syntax, semantics, history of the language, and regional and social language variation. The emphasis will most often be on the area of phonetics and phonology. Variable content course. May be repeated once with different content. Prerequisite: FRN 312 .
