Catalog description
This is an introductory course designed to help students understand the critical role entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship play in the global economy. This course will provide students with an overview of the fundamental principles and processes of entrepreneurship. Students learn the history of entrepreneurship and are exposed to entrepreneurship in its variety of forms from the firm- to the individual-level. Throughout the course, students are encouraged to apply theory and principles to real world situations to gain a better understanding of how the two interrelate. Prerequisite: undergraduate business majors must be admitted to degree program.
