A course intended to develop the writing of prospective and in-service teachers and to explore the means by which writing can be encouraged, developed, and assessed. May be taught concurrently with ENG 631. Cannot receive credit for both ENG 521 and ENG 631. Prerequisite: admitted to Teacher Education.
