Catalog description

A capstone course emphasizing reflection and synthesis of concepts from previous courses. Focus on skills associated with the smooth transition from an academic study of professional writing to the professional workforce. Students prepare a portfolio that demonstrates their integration of course and program outcomes and complete individual research projects related to the three pillars of the Public Affairs mission, including topics ranging from ethical and legal issues to globalization and localization. Public Affairs Capstone Experience course. Prerequisite: ENG 373 and ENG 377 and ENG 421 .
