Catalog description

This course is designed to enhance the teacher candidate’s collaboration skills and understanding of the relationships between school, colleagues, community, child and family. Emphasis is placed on diverse family dynamics within a pluralistic society including the role family functioning has on the child’s total educational experience and children as individual learners. Prerequisite: concurrent enrollment in ELE 500 . Corequisite: ELE 500
