Methods of Teaching Social Studies in Elementary Schools

Catalog description

Emphasis upon teaching social studies, skills generalizations, attitudes, and values and the development and use of appropriate learning materials and evaluation instruments for elementary and middle school programs. Prerequisite: B- grade or better in ELE 410 or concurrent enrollment; and C- grade or better in HST 121 or HST 122 and in PLS 101 ; and admitted to Teacher Education.
