Applied Econometrics

Catalog description

Students will learn simple regression and multiple regression analysis. Additional topics include model building, cross sectional and time series analysis, as well as related topics. Students will be required to engage in original research using the principles taught in the class and to write their research into a research paper. Public Affairs Capstone Experience course. May be taught concurrently with ECO 609. Cannot receive credit for both ECO 409 and ECO 609. Prerequisite: QBA 237 or equivalent; and undergraduate business majors must be admitted to degree program.
