Catalog description

This course focuses on describing and evaluating the policies and initiatives used to monitor and treat criminal offenders sanctioned to community supervision. Community-based correctional programs and practices given special attention include probation and parole, work release, halfway houses, residential treatment centers, and diversionary programs. Recommended Prerequisite: 45 hours.
