Catalog description
This course examines the characteristics of crime victimization as it relates to the various components of the criminal justice system. Students will develop a better understanding of the contextual relationship between victims and offenders, as well as the role of police, courts and corrections in the dynamics of crime victimization, as well as the physical, emotional and financial impact of crime. May be taught concurrently with CRM 646. Cannot receive credit for both CRM 445 and CRM 646. Recommended Prerequisite: 45 hours.
