Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with an overview of criminal procedures leading to the wrongful conviction of alleged offenders. This will include an overview of the extent of wrongful convictions in the United States as well as the primary contributing factors of wrongful conviction. Students will also be exposed to potential policy changes and laws that have been made or suggested to reduce the incidence of wrongful convictions. Recommended Prerequisite: CRM 210 and 45 hours.
