Bioenergetics–Metabolism of biomolecules including carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids and nucleotides. Photosynthesis. Nitrogen metabolism. Mechanisms of hormone action. May be taught concurrently with CHM 656. Cannot receive credit for both CHM 556 and CHM 656. Prerequisite: C- grade or better in CHM 554 .
