Catalog description

A laboratory course emphasizing applications of Instrumental methods for the separation and analysis of materials. The course is designed to reflect and supplement the scope of CHM 502 . Included are laboratory exercises in potentiometry, spectrophotometry, and chromatography. May be taught concurrently with CHM 603. Cannot receive credit for both CHM 503 and CHM 603. Prerequisite: C- grade or better in CHM 302 ; and C- grade or better in CHM 502 or CHM 602 or concurrent enrollment.
