Atmospheric chemistry; pollution issues related to power production and transportation; energy sources and fuels. May be taught concurrently with CHM 661. Cannot receive credit for both CHM 461 and CHM 661. Prerequisite: C- grade or better in CHM 201 or CHM 342 . Recommended Prerequisite: some advanced coursework in chemistry, geosciences, biology, or related fields.
