Introduction to modern biochemical techniques including buffer preparation, chromatographic separations and spectrophotometric analysis of biomolecules. CHM 353 and CHM 555 cannot both be applied toward a chemistry major or minor. Prerequisite: CHM 171 or [ CHM 201 and CHM 202 ] or CHM 342 ; and CHM 352 or concurrent enrollment.
