Catalog description
This class is designed to provide “real-world” experiences to help students excel. Typical sessions in this class could include: guest presentations, resume building, job searches, job finding software, mock interviews, cover letters, job shadowing. The goal of this course is to support students within their internship(s) and learning skills that will help them transition into the workplace once they graduate from the Bear POWER Program at Missouri State University. Students will be expected to work close to 20 hours a week in an internship. Cannot be taken Pass/Not Pass. Prerequisite: CFC 110 and CFC 130 and CFC 200 and CFC 250 ; and enrolled in the Bear POWER certificate program.
