Catalog description
This course aims to teach students the importance of community engagement and the ways they can be engaged in their local community. They will learn the history of the disability community, how and when to disclose a disability, and how to be an advocate - not only for themselves, but for others. Cannot be taken Pass/Not Pass. Prerequisite: CFC 110 and CFC 130 ; and enrolled in the Bear POWER certificate program.
