Catalog description

The goal of this course is to learn fundamentals of communication and interpersonal relationships. These skills are important for success in college, future careers, and the community which students live and work. Proper communication and interpersonal relationships will allow students to be propelled forward in life. Students will learn some skills to better understand themselves and others. Typical sessions in this class could include guest presentations, lectures, and in-class work. Students will also be working in internships between 5-15 hours per week. Cannot be taken Pass/Not Pass. Prerequisite: CFC 110 ; and enrolled in the Bear POWER certificate program.
