Human Cardiopulmonary Physiology

Catalog description

A cellular and molecular study of human cardiovascular and respiratory physiology and related human diseases. Emphasis will be on the molecular mechanisms for normal and abnormal functions of the blood, the blood vessels, the heart, the respiratory tract, and the lung. Current research topics and results will be introduced and discussed. May be taught concurrently with BMS 665. Cannot receive credit for both BMS 565 and BMS 665. Prerequisite: C grade or better in BMS 308 or BMS 542 ; and either BMS 321 or CHM 352 .
