an Biology. A lecture course designed to help non-science majors who want to understand the biological basis of human life but do not plan on further study in the life sciences. This course is designed to introduce major concepts and principles in human biology. Topics include cell biology, the chemical basis of life, human genetics, and the basics of human anatomy and physiology. Current bioethical issues and human disease are emphasized through discussion and assignments. Cannot receive credit for both BMS 100 and BMS 110 .
