Catalog description
Physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of lakes and reservoirs. Laboratory includes mapping, lake models, water chemistry, and surveys of diversity and abundance. One all-day Saturday field trip required. May be taught concurrently with BIO 662. Cannot receive credit for both BIO 562 and BIO 662. Prerequisite: BIO 367 and BIO 368 . Recommended Prerequisite: CHM 171 or higher.
