Catalog description

Explores the fundamental principles of vertebrate endocrinology while providing a comparative context across animal species. Emphasizes understanding hormonal regulation of physiological processes with an integrative approach that explores mechanisms from molecules to whole-animal endocrine regulation. May be taught concurrently with BIO 648. Cannot receive credit for BIO 548 and BIO 648. Prerequisite: BIO 320 or BIO 361 or BMS 308 .
