Catalog description

-4 Field work during an extended field trip to a specific region of North America to familiarize the student with the flora and/or fauna of that region. Course is scheduled irregularly during academic breaks and may be preceded by several lectures in preparation for the trip. May be repeated to a maximum of six hours with a maximum of three hours to be applied to the major in biology. May be taught concurrently with BIO 627. Cannot receive credit for both BIO 527 and BIO 627. Public Affairs Capstone Experience course. Prerequisite: permission of instructor.
