Catalog description

This course will introduce students to a range of critical art theories from the late 19th Century through the 21st Century, addressing what has been thought and written about art from various perspectives. Public Affairs Capstone Experience course. May be taught concurrently with ART 692. Cannot receive credit for both ART 492 and ART 692. Prerequisite: 6 hours of art history at the 300- or 400- level; and permission of instructor.
