Catalog description

Management of the cow-calf enterprise including grazing management, reproduction, genetics, nutrition, and animal health. Costs of production, financial statements, and partial budgeting evaluate profitability of management practices. Hands-on experience managing beef cows through calving and rebreeding. Prerequisite: AGS 101 or AGB 144 or AGN 115 or AGP 103 ; and 60 hours.
