Catalog description

An overview of the theory and application of digital technology used in agriculture and natural resources with emphasis on precision agronomy and forestry. Techniques will include: geographic information systems (GIS), guidance systems, remote sensing, drone operation, sample design, and yield monitoring. May be taught concurrently with AGR 657. Cannot receive credit for both AGR 457 and AGR 657. Recommended Prerequisite: AGR 257; and 12 hours in AGN or AGP courses.
