Catalog description

This course prepares students to design, implement, and manage comprehensive school-based agricultural education programs. Emphasis is placed on yearlong and semester-long curriculum planning using Understanding by Design, community assessment, classroom and program management, and integration of FFA and SAE components. Students develop a scope and sequence, instructional philosophy, and program of activities that reflect effective teaching, leadership, and management practices in agricultural education. May be taught concurrently with AGE 668. Cannot receive credit for both AGE 418 and AGE 668. Prerequisite: AGE 318 .
