Fall 2 Credit Hours Pulmonology introduces the paramedic student to commonly encountered respiratory system emergencies. Focus will be placed on respiratory anatomy and physiology, and the assessment and treatment of respiratory emergencies. Instruction will integrate assessment findings with principles of epidemiology and pathophysiology to formulate a field impression and treatment plan. Two hours of lecture each week. Co-requisites: PARA 0251 , PARA 0252 , PARA 0253 , PARA 0256 and PARA 0370
