Catalog description

Fall, Spring, Summer 3 Credit Hours This course will apply current nursing knowledge in the assessment of the patient and expand upon this knowledge to gain a holistic perspective of the person, family, community, and population for actual and potential health problems or needs. The course will differentiate between normal and abnormal health findings as well as integrate assessment skills in a comprehensive, systematic manner. Prerequisites: admittance to the RN to BSN nursing program, minimum GPA of 2.8, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Missouri OR compact state, Pre-requisite nursing courses as listed in the admission section of the catalog
