Fall, Spring, Summer 3 Credit Hours This course will differentiate professional implications (knowledge, skills, standards, regulations) specific to the role of a baccalaureate prepared nursing professional. The context of knowledge will encompass nursing history, clinical judgement founded upon a broad knowledge base, functional areas of nursing practice, and the essential role of improving healthcare quality and safety. Prerequisites: admittance to the RN to BSN nursing program, minimum GPA of 2.8, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Missouri OR compact state, Pre-requisite nursing courses as listed in the admission section of the catalog
