Catalog description

Fall 3 Credit Hours Focuses on assessing the nutritional status of individuals and on the biochemical and pathophysiological bases of diseases and conditions that requires specialized nutrition support or medical nutrition therapy. Students will examine food patterns as they relate to the prevention and management of common non-communicable disease and develop skills using the Nutrition Care Process. Pre-requisites: KINE 385, BIO 121 or BIO 180
