Catalog description
Designed to teach introductory theory and technique in assessment, exercise programming, and injury prevention. Techniques for safely conducting physical fitness assessments are studied in the following areas: Cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength and endurance, joint flexibility, and body composition. This course will also serve as an introduction to the MSSU Kinesiology department. Job exploration in the field will also be emphasized. Prerequisite or corequisite: KINE 103
