Catalog description

Fall 3 Credit Hours Provides participants with skills and methods to analyze organizational systems. Topics include quality basics, quality management systems, analytical approaches to problem solving, the seven tools of quality (Control chart, Flow Chart, Histogram, C&E Diagram, Scatter Diagram, Pareto Chart), capability analysis, quality costs. Computer-based solution techniques are used where appropriate. Three one-hour lectures per week. Prerequisites: IET 230 or MGMT 237 and MATH 310 or GB 321, or instructor permission.
