Project Management Fundamentals and Applications

Catalog description

Fall 3 Credit Hours Introduction to the principles and managerial processes involved with Project Management. Students will gain understanding of fundamental project management skills and how they relate to projects in class room settings, internships, and companies. Students will be introduced to Microsoft Project Software and its applications to managing project constraints, planning, scheduling and distributing of project resources and efficiently publishing project information. The course content is aligned with the Project Management Body of Knowledge developed by the Project Management Institute. Three hours lectures per week. Prerequisites: None
